Why do you need to renew your visa to Vietnam?
As described in:
1/ Law on entry, exit, transit, the residence of foreigners in Vietnam (Law No. 47/2014 / QH13, 16/6/2014).
2/ Circular No. 31/2015 / TT-BCA, dated 06/07/2015, of the Ministry of Public Security guiding some contents on granting visa Vietnam, granting temporary residence card, granting entry/exit permit for foreigners in Vietnam.
- Foreigners who enter and exit Vietnam must have their passport or passport substitutes (hereinafter referred to as passports) and visas issued by competent authorities of Viet Nam, except in case of visa exemption. The passport substitutes must be introduced to and accepted by Vietnamese competent authorities through the diplomatic channel.
- Any foreigner currently residing in Vietnam wishing to issue a visa or renewal of temporary residence must request the agency, organization or individual directly or indirectly to lodge an application for a visa renewal which must be accompanied by passports or papers of international travel value of foreigners at the exit and entry management sections of the police offices of the provinces or cities directly under the Ministry.
If you stay in Vietnam without the renewal when your visa has expired, you will be punished by the Immigration Officer when trying to exit the country.
Please make a notice that: With visa renewal, you will be provided a new visa type disregarding of the current one. You can maintain staying inside of the country, if you leave, the renewal will be no more applied.
How to renew your visa
You just need to send us your information including:
- Passport scan (file attached)
- Current visa scan (file attached)
- Immigration stamp (file attached)
- Latest date of entry
- Your current address in Vietnam
